Local Children Education Support Program is under implementation

In the framework of it’s policy on social responsibility the Energy Resources Company has been implementing Local Children Education Support Program. Activities such as exchange their experiences between the schools of the capital city and local towns, activities aimed at rendering the supports to development and improvement of teachers teaching methodology and training methodology system of schools are being successfully implemented under this Program. In order to decrease differences between the rural and city’s children education development and to promote good citizens formation and increase the number of highly educated people in countryside the Energy Resources Company has initiated and is implementing cooperation programs aimed at supporting the cooperation between Orchlon school in Ulnaabaatar school in Tsogttsetsii soum (Omnogovi aimag). Orchlon school, which took the school of Tsogttsetsii soum under it’s patronage has reached international training standards.

Within the plan of cooperation between above two schools the managing persons and some teachers of the school of Tsogttsetsii soum have visited Orchlon school from March 23 to 25, 2009. The visitors have acquainted with organization structure and training experiences of Orchlon school and discussed plan for further cooperation in businesslike manner. In their turn, teachers of Orchlon school have visited to the school of Tsogttsetsii soum in April 23-26, 2009 and hold 12-hour trainings on Methodology for Development of Curriculum, New Methods on Active Training and Application of Internal Intellect in Training. These trainings were very useful and efficient not only for local teachers but was beneficial to local people.

By the way, the school of Tsogttsetsii soum three times was selected as the best school in Omnogovi aimag and it was obvious that the staffs are full of inspiration for development of their skills. Teachers involved in training have expressed 100 percent satisfaction with the training and were full of energy to apply the knowledge gained by the trainings. Staffs of countryside and the capital city two schools who are shared their experiences were very interested in further development of cooperation between the schools.

Delegation of Orchlon school has gifted study materials, textbooks, illustration materials, training items and toys to teachers, students and children of the school and kindergarten of Tsogttsetsii soum.
